Norwegian composer and pianist Edvard Grieg was born on June 15, 1843. He is considered one of the leading Romantic era composers. One of his recognizable theme is from Peer Gynt, Suite No. 1, Op.46, "In the Hall of the Mountain King." The theme starts slow and soft then speeds up and ends loud.
