Jerry Schatzberg
Photography Appreciation
I came across a picture of The Rolling Stones dressed in drag. Mick Jagger more passable as a woman, Ron Wood looking stern like a strict nanny, and Charlie Watts sitting on a wheelchair with his legs tangled. The photograph was taken by Jerry Schatzberg for one of The Rolling Stones' album covers.
Schatzberg is a fashion photographer and film director known for taking images of rock stars and actors such as Bob Dylan, Edie Sedgwick, and Faye Dunaway.
You can see more of his beautiful images HERE.

"Where does he get those wonderful toys?"
Film Appreciation
I was a thirteen year old boy siting in the movie theater waiting anxiously with my friends to watch Batman.
All I knew about "Batman" was from the 1960's TV series starring Adam West and Burt Ward, but the movie previews and TV commercials showed a way different "Batman" than what I was used to.
So, what was I expecting to watch?
The lights dimmed and the movie began.
The Tim Burton movie was dark and slightly uncomfortable, but Michael Keaton, aka Beetlejuice and Mr. Mom, brought reassurance that the movie would be fun.

"You're Gonna Need A Bigger Boat"
Film Appreciation
I wasn't born yet when this film was released, but I do remember watching JAWS on HBO when I was little. After watching, it took me years (I mean, years) to finally go into the deep.

Billy Joel - It's Still Rock and Roll to Me
Music Appreciation
Since I was very little, I was a big fan of Billy Joel. I remember watching his music videos on TBS Night Tracks. One such music video was It's Still Rock & Rock to Me, which was his #1 hit--the song spent 11 weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
