Richard Wagner - Lohengrin (Prelude)
Music Appreciation
German composer, theater director, and conductor Richard Wagner was born on May 22, 1813. He is primarily known for his operas. One of those operas he composed and wrote was Lohengrin, which was first performed in 1850.

I've been a little preoccupied
So... I met a great girl about three months ago in the most unlikely place I would have ever thought of meeting someone--OKCupid. She caught my attention from the very start, and I've been focusing all of my attention on her.
Since things seem to be falling into place, I think I may have a little more time on my hobby--blogging about anything and everything ART.

Eddy Stevens
ART APPRECIATION
I came across a monochromatic painting of eight perching parakeets over a seated nude girl holding a jar while surfing my favorite art blog, Art Odyssey. The painting, which is titled Ressemble, is by Belgium artist Eddy Stevens who is known for blending modernism and fantasy.
