On March 3, 1987, Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive" was released to the airwaves. Written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, as homage to heroes of the Old West, the song peaked at Number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and helped it's album, Slippery When Wet, become the first hard rock album to have three top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
Better Than Ezra is an American alternative rock band that formed in 1988 in Baton Rouge. Their first single, Good, which was released in topped the Billboard charts in 1995. The album, Deluxe, was re-released by Elektra Records on February 28, 1995.
I came across The Bathers, a painting by Piero Tamò, on the art blog, La Conchiglia di Venere. Art history provides countless of paintings that features females bathing in a natural body of water. Perhaps because it's not only sensual but symbolizes purity.
Little is known of Piero Tamò. What we do know is that he born on February 27, 1899, a poet and enjoyed realism art.
I always look forward in watching the Academy Awards. And this year I'm excited because the movie I absolutely enjoyed watching is poised to win big. I predict, as many others have, that La La Land is going to win Best Picture as well as six more Oscars.
