Til I Hear It from You, which was featured in Empire Records' soundtrack, was written by Gin Blossoms' guitarist Jesse Valenzuela and songwriter Marshall Crenshaw. The song was originally released on September 21, 1995.
The side-scrolling music video was directed by David Cameron. It shows the band members playing with random close-ups of models.
