Felice Casorati
Art Appreciation
I came across "Concerto," a painting of nude women doing various actions. One is kneeling and resting her arm. Another is playing the guitar. In the background, a lady is looking out the balcony. Watching the nude women is what appears to be a seated dressed female in the background.
The painting is by Italian painter, sculptor, and printmaker, Felice Casorati. He is known for figure compositions that intellectually incorporates still-life to tell a story.
