Based on The Who's 1969 rock opera album, Tommy is a 1975 British musical fantasy film about a boy who witnesses his father's death and becomes catatonic.
Directed by Ken Russell, the film featured well-known actors such as Ann-Margret, Oliver Reed, Roger Daltrey, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Jack Nicholson, and Tina Turner. Ann-Margret won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
