Music Appreciation
Born on February 3, 1954, Robert Sheldon has over 140 compositions. A graduate from the University of Florida, Sheldon is one of the most performed composers of wind bands. He has received numerous accolades and has conducted his compositions at New York's Carnegie Hall, Chicago's Orchestra Hall, Boston's Symphony Hall, and the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
In 2003, he composed In the Center Ring for a grade school band in Illinois.
