I recall being excited receiving the October 1995 edition of Playboy because it featured "The Women of the Ivy League." This was a big deal because as a college kid I was interested in what our nation's flagship institutions were offering in terms of girls. But that issue offered a lot more than cute college girls. It featured Elizabeth Berkley topless, a insightful interview with a 24 year old Snoop Dogg, and the gorgeous Alicia Rickter.
Her centerfold titled "Earth Shaker" called her the "postmodern Playmate." "She paints. She reads philosophy. She ponders the meaning of life, the meaning of sex, even the sociopolitical of appearing in PLAYBOY," the article read.
Although she is celebrated as the 500th Playmate, it was later found that one early Playmate appeared twice under different names (Marilyn Waltz and Margaret Scott).
The American model and actress was born on September 21, 1972. After appearing in Playboy, Alicia appeared in TV and film. One such TV series was the sexy drama television series, Baywatch. In 2002, she had a role in the romantic comedy film, Buying the Cow.
In 2005, Alicia married baseball catcher Mike Piazza at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Miami.
