Lana Kinnear was born on July 29, 1976, in Burbank, California. Standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with blonde hair and blue eyes, Kinnear developed an athletic and outgoing personality that would later serve her well in both modeling and entertainment.
While attending college she pursued modeling and acting opportunities. In interviews, Kinnear described herself as highly athletic, participating in activities ranging from football to wrestling, and she often credited her persistence and ambition as key factors in her success.
Kinnear began building her entertainment résumé in the late 1990s and early 2000s, appearing in films, television programs, commercials, and music videos. Among her early screen appearances were uncredited roles in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Pay It Forward.
