Modeling Appreciation
American glamour model Brooke Richards, born Debra Brooke Krout on October 17, 1976, in York, Pennsylvania, built a successful modeling career during the late 1990s.
Standing 5'7" with long, wavy blonde hair and brown eyes, Brooke was raised in a large family as the youngest of fourteen children. She later moved to South Carolina, where she attended West-Oak High School in Westminster.
An accomplished student, she served as president of the National Honor Society and was voted by her graduating class as "Most Likely to Appear in Vogue." Although she excelled academically, Brooke chose to pursue modeling, a decision that quickly opened doors in the beauty pageant and glamour modeling industries. Outside of her professional career, she has cited painting, drawing, sculpting, dancing, and chess among her favorite hobbies.
Brooke's breakthrough came after winning the titles of Miss Hawaiian Tropic International and Miss Chevy Vettefest Chicago, achievements that led to widespread modeling opportunities. She began appearing in numerous Playboy Special Editions in 1998 before being featured in the magazine's "Girls of Hawaiian Tropic" pictorial in July 1999.
Later that year, she was selected as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for the December 1999 issue, becoming one of the first Playmates to establish a strong presence in the magazine's Special Editions before earning the monthly title.
Brooke also appeared in several Playboy home videos and promotional productions, further expanding her visibility during the height of her modeling career.
From 2003 to 2004, she operated her own website, where she shared exclusive glamour photography with subscribers.
