Robert Fuchs

Music Appreciation

Austrian composer Robert Fuchs was born on February 15, 1847 in Frauental an der Laßnitz in Southern Austria. He was a professor of music theory at the Vienna Conservatory and was highly regarded, although he did little to promote his compositions.

Johannes Brahms once wrote, "Fuchs is a splendid musician, everything is so fine and so skillful, so charmingly invented, that one is always pleased."

Conducted by Christian Ludwig, Cologne Chamber Orchestra

Blink-182 - I Miss You

Music Appreciation

American rock band Blink-182's "I Miss You" was released on February 9, 2004. The song, which was written by guitarist Tom DeLonge and bassist Mark Hoppus, was inspired by The Cure's song "The Love Cats."

The 1930-esque music video, was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, and shows the band performing in a scary mansion with ghostly images, skulls, spiders, and fog.
